Background

Following an innate passion for animals, Mollie has been chasing a drive for cat care for years. Her passion for cats began at an early age, where outdoor community cats would often visit her childhood home. Eventually, after much convincing, she was able to take in her first litter with her family. This sparked a newfound love for cat rescue, where she continued to advance her skills and knowledge by joining a grassroots TNVR (or, “Trap, Neuter/Spay, Vaccinate, Return/Rescue”) organization near Garner, NC. Over the course of two summers, her team successfully TNVR’ed over 40 cats!

After settling into Chapel Hill, NC, Mollie found new avenues to utilize and develop more skills in cat rescue by joining a local cat cafe and rescue. It was here where she flourished working in multiple facets of cat care, including: adoptions, rescue, fostering, TNVR, basic medicine, and cat-sitting. After graduating with her B.A. in Biology from The University of North Carolina — Chapel Hill, she started Kissies For Your Hissies as a way to further assist her community and their kitties’ needs by utilizing her refined cat-wrangling skills. Through her diverse experience working with cats, she has refined her ability to provide outstanding care and attention to detail to her customers and their beloved fuzzy ones.
